Are there any additional charges for the Global phone plan?
If you require a physical SIM card there is a shipping charge. Any additional minutes, SMS and data used outside the allowance is chargeable with the Global phone plan.
Can I use a VPN with this phone plan?
You can choose to use a VPN with the following plans:
- Europe
- Global
You cannot use a VPN on the following plan:
- Global unlimited
We monitor activity and circumventions on the Global unlimited plan and may suspend your contract after notifying you if high data usage is occuring via VPN.
Does the Global phone plan include voice minutes and messages?
Yes. Voice and text messages are included with the Global unlimited plan. Please see notes and terms for further information of how many minutes and messages are included with the plan.
Does the Global plan have a minimum commitment?
Yes. There is a 3-month minimum term on the Global plan, and monthly rolling thereafter.
What devices can I use with a phone plan?
Aside from a mobile phone, you are free to use the plan on available LTE enabled laptops, tablets, mobile phones, or MiFi for business travelers, technicians, and remote workers.
What is the cancellation period for the Global plan?
If you want to cancel your Global phone subscription you'll need to give us 30 days notice. If the 30 days follows within a new calendar month, you will be charged up until the end of that new month.
Will my speed be throttled?
Unless you give us specific instructions to throttle your connection or you purchase a bundle, the speed of your connection will never be throttled. Tailored speed throttling is only available on certain plans.
