Common questions

Will a Wave Connect SIM work in my device?

It works in any unlocked device that takes a data SIM — routers, security and trail cameras, trackers, tablets and IoT equipment. The device must not be locked to another network.

How many networks do you cover?

In the UK our SIMs roam across four networks, and across multiple networks in almost every other country, so a single carrier outage does not take your device offline.

Do I need to activate the SIM?

No. There's no activation step and no codes to enter. Insert the SIM and it connects on its own, usually within a minute or two.

When does my plan start?

Your plan starts the first time the SIM connects, not when you order it. You can buy ahead or keep a spare without using up your allowance.

What happens when I run out of data?

The SIM stops using data until you top up. With auto-refill switched on it tops up automatically and costs 10% less than a manual refill.

Is there a minimum term?

No. There's no minimum term and no monthly contract. You buy a plan and use it.
