Frequently asked questions
What data plan types are available for businesses?
Three: prepaid, where you buy an allowance per SIM up front; pooled data, where every SIM draws from one shared monthly allowance; and pay as you go, billed per MB from wallet funds. All three include consolidated invoicing across the account.
Is there a minimum for pooled data?
Not a minimum number of SIMs or gigabytes — a minimum monthly bill of €100 / £85. If your pool works out at less than that, you are still charged the minimum.
At the entry rate of €3.00 per GB, €100 covers around 33 GB a month. So pooled makes sense once you are using roughly that much or more; below it, prepaid is usually the better fit. Billed monthly in arrears, with no pro-rata.
What happens if we use more than the pool?
You are billed at your own tier rate, not a penalty rate. If you go over consistently, you move up to the better tier rather than paying a premium for it.
Will I get a proper business invoice?
Only on a business account. Orders placed without one are treated as consumer purchases and receive a standard consumer receipt, which will not carry your company name, company number or VAT number — so it may not be accepted for reclaiming VAT or for your own accounts.
Once your business account is approved, invoices are issued to your company with those details on them, and you can consolidate a whole fleet onto one invoice with usage broken down by SIM.
How do I get business pricing?
Request access using the form on this page. Once your account is approved, business prices appear automatically when you are logged in.
Is auto-refill available on a business account?
No. Business accounts keep wallet funds topped up instead, and refills draw from that balance — so a SIM never goes offline waiting on a card payment.
Can I white label the platform?
Yes. The management portal, and optionally your support experience, can appear under your own brand rather than Wave Connect's.
