Introducing PAYGO - prepaid pooled business data
Our new PAYGO service mixes the ease of prepaid billing with complexity of pooled data.
For businesses that require multiple cards, paying for a plan per SIM card isn't an effective billing option. Pooled data plans are a good option to resolve this but are usually postpaid, meaning that an invoice is sent for the previous data use period (i,e, invoiced in Febryary for use in January). This means that using pooled data plans makes it difficult for businesses to manage budget, and in addition the provider often requires a large deposit.
Introducing Wave Connect PAYG - prepaid pooled data
With PAYGO, businesses can take advantage of our "account balance" (more info on that here).
The advantages of utilising an account balance instead of a prepaid data plan include:
- Payment solely for the data consumed
- Avoidance of individual plan payments
- Centralised view of all SIM cards in one portal
Businesses using an account balance can easily refill it in the portal. The balance will decrease as you consume data. There is an option to manually top up or set up auto-refill. Setting alerts and adding suspension triggers if the SIM card is used in a different devices is also possible.
